Terms and Conditions Reservations, Payment, & Cancellations for tours pre-paid online .

A 100% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. All tours must be prepaid in full before arrival, Dominican Fishing Tours  will make every effort to accommodate your requested tour dates. Please understand certain tours require a minimum number of guests and may be subject to date changes if we don't have sufficient numbers to run the tour.

Payments are refunded for tours cancelled by Dominican Fishing Tours .

Trip Modification

We design our trips with a degree of flexibility, to provide you with the best possible opportunity for exploring the Dominican Republic. Therefore our itineraries may change due to weather, availability of new accommodations or routes, problems with old routes, etc. Dominican Fishing Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary due to any factor. What's included For all Tours purified drinking water, snacks, helmets and expert guides. Some tours also include: airport transfers, Fruit, Breakfast or Lunch and transportation.

What's not included

Airfare, soft drinks, liquor, medical expenses, cost of hospitalization or evacuation from remote areas, personal medical insurance, gratuities for guides.

Medical & Client Responsibilities

Good physical and mental health are essential for the enjoyment of our trips It is essential that any participant with a medical condition requiring regular treatment or which may be affected by vigorous activity, high altitude, heat, cold, other natural phenomena, or foods, notify Dominican Fishing Tours, in writing, in advance of the trip. All participants must carry their own medical insurance, valid for the duration of the trip. Clients must present themselves for tours in a condition that guides feel will enable them to participate without endagering themselves or others, this especially relates to cascading, canyoning and biking trips. Please drink responsibly the night before trips as any sign of intoxication may lead to the cancellation of tours or exclusion of individulas without recourse to refunds.

Group Discounts

Group discounts are available for groups of 8 or more (on Dominican Fishing Tours's own tours only, not third party outfitter tours) when payment is made for the group by one individual, separate online payments by individuals part of a group do not qualify. Ask us for more information. Multi-day adventures and Group Tours Reservations and Payment Early reservations are encouraged. Some trips fill several months before departure.  Full payment is required as arrival. No personal checks acepted. All payments must be in the form of U.S. dollars and/or Euros. If payment is not received when due, Dominican Fishing Tours reserves the right to treat the reservation as canceled.

Cancellation by Client

Dominican Fishing Tours trips are sold as packages, and there will be no refunds to individuals who leave a trip early or arrive late. Exceptions to the above cancellation policies cannot be made for any reason, including weather and personal emergencies. DOMINICAN FISHING TOURS STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT YOU PURCHASE A TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY THAT INCLUDES TRIP CANCELLATION AND INTERRUPTION INSURANCE. Cancellation by Dominican Fishing Tours.


Dominican Fishing Tours reserves the right to cancel any trip due to acts of nature and/or any other occurrence out of our control. Dominican Fishing Tours rates are based on a minimum group size of eight people, should a trip be under subscribed, we do everything we can to make a trip go, even with as few as four participants. (In such cases, it may be necessary to increase rates). Final decision to cancel a trip due to insufficient sign ups is made 30 days prior to departure. Should Dominican Fishing Tours cancel a trip, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid to us. Dominican Fishing Tours is not responsible for additional expenses such as airline or hotel cancellations fees. Pre-Departure Package On receipt of your deposit, we will send you a receipt and confirmation and a pre-departure information packet. This will include an itinerary, a clothing and equipment checklist, current medical requirements, passport and tourist card requirements.
